Aldi Dessert Menu tinned caramel. What can I use it for?

Bought 2 tins about a month ago thinking it was a thick condensed milk type caramel to use for a millionaire's shortbread. Anyway it isn't, it's more of a set custard texture and I'm not sure what to do with it! It says on the tin "great for home baking" but without any suggestions. A google says it doesn't exist but I know it does!! Any offers?! I hate waste

Dont open it then eat it all with a teaspoon. Or poured over vanilla ice cream. Or as a layer at the bottom of a fruit crumble. Or any of these things. Chuck it now and save yourself.

Ooooh, yes, toffee apple crumble.

Over ice cream then top with crushed maltesers.

Meringues, cream or ice cream then warmed sauce.

Ice cream sundaes.

Thanks for the ideas, but it doesn't pour in any way, it's sort of custard/jelly like. Not what I was expecting at all

It will probably pour if it's heated.

I used some to make ice cream (tasty) but the winning 'dish' was to unroll a pack of puff pastry onto a baking sheet and spread the caramel sauce on it. Cover sauce with very thinly sliced apples and bake until pastry is golden and apples are soft. It went down a storm and I've been asked to make more!

Not familiar with this particular caramel, but can you put it into a bowl and stir it? Does it smooth out?

Get a pre-baked, sweet pasty case and put the carmel in. Smooth the top and sprinkle lightly with salt. Pour melted chocolate over the top thinly and leave to set. Delicious salted, caramel slice 😋
