Pls can you share your weekly menu if you have

Especially breakfast, I don't like cereal so I do struggle to find what to eat in the morning pls I do not like bread as such so it's always hard

For other meals of the day, living with very cosy people makes it even harder & I sometimes get get up & just want a one way ticket to mars.

Breakfast is my specialty (See my virtual café in the wide awake club)

I'm lactose intolerant and diabetic, I'm following 'protein for breakfast and low carb (not no carb) meals.

Breakfasts quite often feature eggs, scrambled, boiled, omelet (mushroom, cheese or rolled Japanese style).

Slices of cheese or baby bell.

Slices of ham.

Bacon and eggs.

Fish - kippers or salmon.

Occasionally a McDonalds breakfast.

Yoghurt - Greek style often with nuts.

Baked avocado, sometimes with an egg in it and often with some spices added.

Hummus with veg dips.

Before I found out about the diabetes I would often have fruit or fruit juice but now I have fruit mid morning or after dinner. Sometimes with yoghurt.

I would also occasionally have nasi goreng or kedgeree.

A relative who is also lactose intolerant makes a big batch of kedgeree and freezes it in small pots that she microwaves on a morning.

I don't know what you mean by living with cozy people.

Thinking about it it seems they don't like anything 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️
They like RICE but son would rather just have white rice with nothing no gravy just bland chicken

DD likes BRIOCHE but son does not

They both like SPAGHETTI & SWEDISH MEATBALLS

That's all.

BunsenBurnerBaby · 04/04/2023 17:29

You have one meal they both like. In our house it’s pizza (and I won’t eat that). There is not a single meal we will all eat the same thing. I’ve stopped stressing about it.

sashh · 05/04/2023 05:10

@user1497643032 maybe just buy a rice cooker and leave them to it.

user1497643032 · 05/04/2023 06:42

@sashh I have a rice cooker since 2018 that I used almost everyday .

Problem sorted then OP.

user1497643032 · 05/04/2023 06:46

@BunsenBurnerBaby same here we do not all like same things. I do get very stressed sometimes not even knowing what to cook for the family, makes me feel inadequate & I realised I have forgotten some recipes because I never get a chance to make them as they all won't eat it including DP
