Needs to be fairly uncomplicated as I have 12 week old. Must garantee results.

What kind of things? Pasta is always a good one - maybe with prawns, smoked salmon or scallops.

At Home, I presume? M&S seem to have lots of prepared yums...

M&S prepared - why make life difficult for yourself? leave it to the experts

Champagne and oysters apparently if you want 'romantic' - and good for you if you feel that way with a 12 week old baby!

Or failing that, moules mariniere (sp??) vacuum pack thereof, french bread and a bottle of cava all from the supermarket, followed by some sort of chocolate pud.

Fab meal that looks special but easy to prepare:

Smoked Salmon (packet of)
1 onion
4oz mushrooms
Tub creme fraiche
Fusilli Pasta

Cook pasta
Meanwhile fry off onions and sliced mushrooms, chuck in smoked salmon, chopped at last minute, add pasta and creme fraiche, warm gently (so creme fraiche doesn't split) et voila. Beautiful

That sounds great and easy. Thanks Any suggestions for pud

Wilkie I'd do that but add some capers, dill and a bit of lemon juice.

I make a really easy tower with digestive biscuits, good quality chocolate spread, raspberries and vanilla ice cream.

I personally would buy a pud to make life easy!!!
