I've been offered a gift membership. What are they like? Are they useful? Are the meal plans good? Do they bombard you with ads or spam?

Never heard of them, sorry.

Well, it's entirely free to sign up, so I'm not sure what the "gift membership"is!

I just signed up and had a look around on the website. Honestly, it's just a recipe collection. There's not much more to it. I use Lollipopai, so I was hoping this was a similar thing, so I'd have more recipes and more options to choose from, but it's really not in the same league. There's no ability to shop online, there's very limited nutritional information or ability to select recipes that are low carb or low fat etc without opening up and reading through the recipes individually, there's no indication of costs on the recipes. Basically it's not smart or dynamic in any way, and it doesn't really offer anything over looking through a recipe book or checking out recipes online and pinning your favourites.

There's a few nice looking recipes on there, in amongst lots of unimaginative ones. That's about it.

So if you like looking at recipe books/recipe sites, then go for it, otherwise I'd say don't waste your time.

Apparently it's supposed to be £50/year. Even free, though, you're not selling it 😂

Well, I imagine it's a start up (hence why it's free to sign up) and the more members they have, the more clout they will have to do collaborations and the more features they will add. But right now, I'd say it's pretty basic and doesn't add my value over using recipe books or other recipe sites.
