Healthy but filling breakfast/lunches/snacks to take to work?

Hello,

I'm currently really struggling with what to eat whilst at work, I always end up getting hungry and then I head to the vending machine! Would be very grateful for any healthy but filling breakfast, lunch or snack ideas :) (preferably not too much red meat) we have fridges and microwaves so I can heat things up.

Thanks!

Lunch ideas
Soups, with bread or oatcakes
Avocado toast
Salads with chicken/ tuna/ some sort of protein
Warm salads which seem to be a tiktok trend
Leftovers from night before

Snacks
Fruit
Nuts
Rice cakes
Cheese and crackers
Carrots and hummus

I say all this but I am never organised enough and end up buying a meal deal.

I like porridge pots like these www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/268060828 with a handful of dried fruit stirred in, or a chopped banana if I’m out of dried fruit!

If your fridge at work has a freezer, you could perhaps keep in it a pack of [[https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/304375062
pre-cooked jacket potatoes]] that just take 5 minutes in the microwave. I have them with tuna toppers, Heinz beans snap pots, leftover chilli or cottage cheese.

I bought my DH this omelette cooker for the microwave and he loves it. You can also get microwave egg poachers.

work snacks I take in are oranges and carrots. Both filling, oranges have the advantage of taking a long time to peel, so occupy you for so long you dont have time to visit the vending machine

My DH takes home made soup in this weather. This week he's taken lentil and ham, scotch broth, leek and potato. With some cubes of cheese and bread. I batch cook and freeze them in microwave cups. He has access to a microwave but will take a food flask so he doesn't need to queue.
DD takes mixed chopped salads (incl cold roast veg leftovers if available) with meat and cheese in with flatbreads or wraps.
Both of these options take a while to eat.

I know a lot of people says soups but I have never found soups fill me up at all. Best lunches I find are leftovers from dinner- filling, as healthy as you want to make them and I find it more cost effective too.

Do you run best on protein or carbs? Depends on that but my staples are

Baked spuds and various fillings.
Burritos to reheat
Leftovers to reheat
Soups, especially homemade chunky broths etc, with crackers and cheese
Chunky chopped salads with cold meat or hard boiled eggs
Potato, pasta or rice based salads.

In Summer it gets a little lighter.
Salads - huge with lots of diff veg and fruits, with some sort of protein (tofu, halloumi, feta, eggs, cold meat, tuna)
Basic sandwich and crisps with fruit.
Bagel filled with cold crispy bacon, lettuce and tomatoes
Quiche - homemade or bought, it doesn't matter, eaten cold with salad
