Ideas for a cold, vegetarian winter picnic

I am going to a community event which will be held indoors. I need to take a picnic tea. My criteria – will have to be eaten cold, must be vegetarian.

Other than vegetarian sausage rolls, sandwiches, quiche what could I take? Meat eaters at the event are catered for! So they will get a knife and fork meal. There is no alternative or option or chance to heat anything up for the vegetarians.
The last time this happened I bought a load of premade vegetarian sushi.

Does anyone have any inspiration?

These mushroom and walnut samosas are delicious. They’re my default option if I need to bring food somewhere, as they are good hot and cold and travel well.

What are the timings and distances involved? If we're talking about an event where you all eat as soon as you arrive and the village hall is only a few metres from your front door, you could just carry some hot food across, whereas obviously if you have to sit through an afternoon of talks or similar before it's time to eat and you've travelled some distance to get there, it would have to either be something cold or you could follow some of the excellent suggestions on this thread for keeping things warm/hot. Still very poor on the part of the committee, though. Will the hall actually be warm? The idea of sitting in a freezing, draughty hall watching the meat-eaters get a nice hot meal while the veggies glumly nibble on a stone cold slab of quiche makes me feel very cross on your behalf.

Living in a rural area I'm used to this sort of thing. We put in an appearance at the odd event and are warmly welcomed but with a slight edge of being on exhibition, look at the newcomers ( 20 years ago, we were new) they don't eat meat!

Supper will be half way through.
I really like the idea of getting a fancy dessert or cake though, the meat eaters don't get a sweet course!

Macaroni pie! Absolute classic.

Hand over with the tobasco shaker.

Fondue with bread for dipping.
