Our school has just said they would like some cakes/biscuits etc donated for the Christmas fair this Saturday.

Does anyone have any super quick and easy recipe ideas that I could make please?

There is a shortage of eggs where I live so preferably recipes without these. I’m not the greatest baker either so I’d prefer something that doesn’t need to rise! I’ve previously makes rocky road and biscuits.

Would also prefer recipes without a long list of ingredients due to the expense. Is this all an impossible request?!

Chocolate crispy ‘domes’ with white chocolate on the top and holly/berries so they look like Christmas puddings

Put melted chocolate on anything - biscs or cake or traybake - always popular.

Home made mince pies. Use ready made pastry. No one will ever know.

I was going to suggest the 3-ingredient Biscoff cake but it does contain eggs. It is, however, dairy free which is also helpful:

I've made it several times, always works. I add extra biscuits to the top & cut into squares. It's super easy & I use Aldi's Biscoff spread dupe to reduce costs.

Also this is a great site - lots of fudge, Rocky Road, truffle, biscuit & bark recipes:

Can highly recommend the Mint Aero Rocky Road!

Also wrap really nicely and hygienically - people are v fussy about home made stuff nowadays.

Tiffin! Sooooo easy! Omit the raisins for fussy people and honestly you will have a hit!

And it's 'fridge' cake so no actual baking required, use the cheapest of chocolate and get some Christmas sprinkles to throw on top and there you have it!

These Nigella chocolate biscuits are absolutely beautiful, melt in the mouth and my kids love them - 4 ingredients, no eggs.

Millie’s Cookies. Just google Millie’s Cookies recipe. So easy. Only one egg. Crowd pleaser.
I would double quantities.

Go to ASDA (or other local supermarket) and buy their un-iced fairy cakes, either some ready-made icing or the ingredients for icing (water icing is absolutely fine) and some sweets... actually, a lot of sweets.
Ice cakes and then hurl as many sweets as the cake can structurally support in the direction of the cake. There is no need for this to be done in a pattern although, if you do, it might make you feel better if you do and will earn you a little kudos with those running the cake stall for your artistic flair.
Then watch those cakes sell faster than anything else on the stall despite tasting fairly vile.
My standards changed dramatically between first child starting reception and youngest child leaving Yr6!
