I have one and I love it.

I got mine from www.secondhandeverhot.co.uk so it was a lot less than full price. They fully refurb them and can repaint them in any of the colours, plus are able to fit and transport them.

On the fuel bills - firstly you can switch any part or all of it off. I never have the simmer plate on, it's hot enough without, and this year I've switched the bottom oven off. If I was organized I'd switch the main oven off on days I'm not using it but I'm not organized and there have been times I tried it and then found I couldn't cook dinner as everything was off.

They don't put out as much heat as an Aga, but I still only need a tiny radiator in the kitchen and mostly it isn't switched on.

I completely switched it off completely a few days in the summer and it looks like it costs about £2-3 a day, obviously that would be more now with the rise in prices.

If you go on TN Cook website you can check usage costs.
Also join the Everhot discussion group on fb.
I've been looking too for a while now .
Very tempted.

It does take a while to figure out how to cook with one, the first month I was 'what have I done!'

Basically no liquid evaporates in the oven so if you are cooking say a casserole you have to reduce the fluid amount by at least 1/3.

We've got a 90i which is the same as the 60 (two ovens, hot and simmer plates but wider and with two induction rings). We absolutely love it and don't have any other heating in the kitchen. However it is VERY hot in the height of summer (regularly up to 25+°C in our kitchen last summer) and that is annoying as we had to switch most of it off. The FB group is great and Everhot do provide lots of info re running costs.

Thanks everyone for replies I have decided against it as I don’t cook every day I just absolutely love how they look But I don’t think it wud be practical for me 😢 I wish there was something that looked as cool without the complications
