Too much Christmas pudding mixture

I've made far too much mixture! I've made all the Christmas puddings we want for this year. I've used up all the basins, so unless I buy more basins I can't make next year's. Not that that's a bad idea.

What else can I do with it?

Pyrex bowls or dariole moulds will work! I haven’t found it makes a lot of difference to the cooking time, with the exception of when using a pressure cooker. You must, however, make sure there is a minimum of an inch of space all around the basin or the pudding won’t cook as the steam and heat can’t circulate and cook the pudding.
You’ll probably need the Pyrex bowl back before Christmas, and you can’t keep pudding in dariole moulds because it begins to react with the metal, so I’d use it in ice cream or cheesecake

I make individual portion puddings using ramekins. Maybe now I have an excuse to buy more Grin

The mixture includes raw egg and vegetarian suet, so it needs to be cooked. I've already used some of it up by diluting it with eggs and milk and putting layers of pudding mixture between the layers of bread in a Bread and Butter pudding. I wonder whether it would work in a baked cheesecake?

cook it in whatever you can lay you hands on and turn it into Christmas pudding ice cream. It’s delicious. Freeze the mixture for now and do it when you want.

Rachel Allen has a lovely recipe for muffins using leftover Christmas pudding so cook the rest in whatever dish you have and use it for those

Wrap it in filo and make a strudely thing.
Make it in a loaf tin as some sort of alternative Yule log.

Cook it in a normal cake tin, crumble it once cooked and freeze. At Christmas, take some crumbles out and mix with brandy butter, roll into little balls and serve as canapés. If you're feeling really decadent, dip the balls into melted chocolate before serving
