Honey varies in price hugely, I like to buy a general purpose Honey for toast and drinks and I would prefer to buy British. When I look at the country of origin all of the lower priced ones say they are from more that one EU county or China.
Does anyone know any from Supermarkets that are from UK Bees that is sensibly priced?

I remember reading that if bees were paid minimum wage, a jar of honey would cost over £10,000.

Good honey is expensive. Even mediocre honey isn't cheap.

Your best bet is finding a local apiary or beekeeper, then at least you're not paying shipping/logistics costs on top of the production cost.

Even here in Western Australia, I try to get my honey from a local producer at a market and we have the most stringent bee laws in the world.

Just a quick "thank you" to everyone.... I asked around and I found a local beekeeper who sells his honey from a box at his doorstep! I just never thought of asking!!
