Help! Cauliflower inspiration

I need to decide what to make for tomorrow's dinner.

I want to use a cauliflower. I'd prefer something in the slow cooker but not essential, a song as some of it can be prepped in advance during baby's naptime.

It needs to work for a DH that's not keen on pulses (so ideally no lentils/Chickpeas unless the end result is ultra delicious) and mild enough for a baby that has never had spice.

Usually I'd just make a curry but I only have spicy curry paste to hand.

I've started googling and confused myself even more, too many recipes and no idea what to make!

@Prairie21 don't let the word cake put you off. It's more of a crust less quiche.

Don’t throw it away as per pp

Make cauliflower cheese, that’s easy and nice

I eat loads of cauliflower as good for low carb, don’t waste it

I make aloo gobi but more dry.. My recipe is 2 tablespoons of oil in a nonstick pan, mustard seeds in first, throw small cauliflower florets in few minutes later add cubed potato and then add coriander powder, Garam masala, turmeric, chilli and salt some garlic ginger paste. Can add peas too. I always garnish with some coriander. Serve with chapatis and raita

I love this kind of thing. I usually add spinach and sometimes lentils or chickpeas or split peas.

Some great recipes on this thread. I often roast cauliflower florets but hadn't thought before about coating them in breadcrumbs and cheese. Sounds good.

Absolutely delicious! The cauliflower was a bit small so I did use chickpeas with it, but I think even DH will love it!

It was easy to leave the chilli out too, so that's a few meals sorted for DC as well.

Very pleased!

I know this is late but for future, you can do something like this cookingjourneyblog.com/whole-roasted-cauliflower/
You can break it into pieces, doesn't have to be whole.
To all that add proper drizzle of pomegranate molasses and chermoula. So amazing

This is the ONLY way (apart from plain steamed) that I will eat cauliflower- and it is delicious.
I buy a spice mix from my local Turkish grocery: Baharat Karisimi it's called.
I chop garlic, fry it up in olive oil in a wok or a good pan that heats quickly.
I pour in pieces of cauliflower, wok fry them in the garlic and oil, sprinkle in a bit of the Turkish spice mix- not too much, half a teaspoon or a smidge more than that. If you have some, a good squeeze of lemon and maybe a bit of chopped parsley. It is lush.

Oh your dish looks nice, OP!
