I want a breadmaker. I need a breadmaker. Is it really Panasonic or nowt (Hunker, I'm a-talking to you, lady)?

They are flippin' expensive and I am skint (and supposed to be Not Conspicuously Consuming, also). What to do? I will buy one if they really are the bolleaux but any other heartfelt recs will be considered.

I thank you, doughily.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I have a Panasonic and I have never had a duff loaf from it yet. Sorry !

Lauriefairycake · 15/01/2008 20:17

I've had mine 6 years I think - Panasonic - cost £120 I think back then

never nuffink gone wrong with it

Advertise on freecycle for one - always lots being given away (not panasonic ones though)

Good luck

I believe one is constitutionally obliged to advise the purchase of a Panasonic.

I have a Kenwood (about £50) it makes me a loaf of bread every day sometimes 2

If you want just bread (not fancy bits added) it works great

wonk - it seems I am constitutionally incapable of making any purchase without referring to MN these days, so...

Which model have you got, Pruners? Is it this 253 one everyone keeps banging on about?
