Dinner recommendation - morning sickness

Currently 7 weeks pregnant and am struggling with inspiration on what to eat for dinner tonight (well, every day!). Most things are turning my stomach at the minute and I just don't know what to eat tonight 🤦‍♀️. I think if I'm not eating within the next hour I'm going to feel awful, and I don't feel great anyway where I'm hungry. Any inspiration on what I could eat?

Something with ginger in it? That's supposed to be good for morning sickness. A stir fry of some kind? I appreciate that might be exactly the kind of things you DON'T fancy!

Failing that then cereal tends to be my go to!

Fruit salad because it tastes okay coming back up

Plain things that don’t smell too much!

At this point I’ve lived off of toast, pasta and butter (with cheese if I was feeling adventurous) chicken noodle soup, and plain rice with furikake seasoning, sometimes with an egg yolk mixed in.

Just eat exactly what you feel like, and please get your dh/dp to take over the cooking while you feel so rough!

I lived on Ready made cheesy mash, haribo and strawberries for the first 14 weeks.

Eat whatever you fancy!

Go simple, grilled lemon and herb chicken and salad

Something quick so you don't have to deal with cooking smells - baked potato in the microwave?
Try and eat something little and often - it really is better if you can avoid being hungry.
It really doesn't matter whether it's healthy or not.
I survived for about 6 weeks on dry rice crispies. After that I progressed to basic microwave meals as they were ready to eat before the smell got to me.

Lots of snacks - crisps, cereal (dry), plain biscuits, nuts, dried fruit.

I ate cheese sandwiches or Starburst for weeks. Then entered the chocolate eclair, curry and liquorice phase.

Whatever you want.

I found that I'd be able to tolerate something for a few days, and then suddenly it would turn my stomach, so just ate what I could when I could. I found plainer things helped - oven chips on their own, jacket potato with just butter and cheese, toast. There was a period of a few days where I wanted chicken fried rice.

Cheese and crackers
Salt and vinegar crisps

Pot noodles, jacket potato, cheese and crackers

All I could eat at that point was chips. My fiancée got very good at recreating McDonald's, five guys and chip shop chips for me 🤣

I'm just on the other side of my morning sickness phewwwww.

I liked having this chicken noodle soup, lots of ginger. Is quick and easy to make. I always make it when I have left over roast chicken.

Or a cheese toasted sandwich. Can't even count how many I've had in the last few weeks!!

Hope you feel better soon xxx

Egg fried rice with peas was my go-to but it had to be made by someone else. Also cheese and tomato toasties.

I ate only crackers for about five months of my first pregnancy.

after that I added in other biscuits and toast
