Schwartz packet mixes - are they suitable for using in slow cookers?

Sorry Dimwit Crap Cook Alert..

Have recently bought a slow cooker and am not very creative when it comes to cooking.
I bought a beef casserole packet mix today with all the necessary ingredients. Can I do this in the slow cooker and would the cooking time be the same as suggested oven time?

TIA

Yes you can, I did it loads when dd was tiny (they don't actually taste that nice and I'm much more inventive now but they were a real convenience). I don't know how long it used to take, best following your slow cooker instructions

Yes you can use the mix but no, the cooking time will be much longer - anything from about four hours and up. You can leave food cooking in a slow cooker for as long as you want on low so perhaps you could put in on in the morning for that eveing's dinner. There are loads of slow cooker threads around with lovely recipes on.

Is anything good for you? I like them actually. We had the Shepherd's Pie tonight. Went down a treat - even dds ate it and that's unusual.
