I usually use a mixture of minced pork and beef in any mince recipe. Much tastier than beef on its own imo. Sorry that's not much help is it!

SPICY MEATBALLS

Minced pork
1/2 tsp Chilli powder,
good sprinkling parsley, oregano and chives
1 finely chopped onion,
2 slices bread (make into breadcrumbs),
egg to bind.

Combine all ingredients, form into small balls and cook in oven, Serve with a basic tomato based sauce (home made or jar) - kids and adults love 'em. and you can spice em up according to taste.

You'd have probably used the mince by now but, for future her's an idea:

Pastry: mix 250g plain flower with 125b butter until they look like breadcrumbs, add a bit of cold water to make it into a dough and put in the fridge.
Meat mixture:
mix together the following:
250g mince pork meat, cooked (1 packet of 500g) spinach very well drained, lots of pepper, some salt, 1 crushed garlic glove, 1 small finely chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

use either a loaf tin or muffin tin for individual pies, line the base with the pastry, put the meat mixture in, cover with more pastry, brush the top with a beaten egg, put in the oven at 200C for 30min.

Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
