Have I missed a "Family found dead in beds after eating prawns" scandal?

I've noticed that Sainsbury's have changed their labelling on their cooked (ie pink) prawns. They now say "serve cold", and offer no cooking instructions/suggestions. It is only on raw (grey) prawns that they say "heat thoroughly" "Fry for 3 mins in hot oil" etc.

I could change to using grey prawns but am I the only person to still use pink prawns for stir fries etc? Have I missed a "Family found dead in beds after eating prawns" scandal?

its a conspiracy

Don't know why but surely uncooked prawns are better for cooking. You wouldn't use cooked meat in stir fries or curries would you? Don't cooked prawns go tough when you cook them again? Maybe they have removed the cooking advice because re-cooking spoils them.

how many times can I write 'cooking' in one post eh?

jorange sometimes i add cooked chicken to a stir fry

its a great way to use up leftovers

only flash fry tho - to heat up iyswim

It is better to use the raw ones anyway, as I find recooking them makes them rubbery.

I often use cooked meat/chicken in stir fires.
