I've finally got my hands on the most amazing of soup makers - chucked in an onion, 2 leeks and a potatoe and provided a very yummy lunch BUT.... hit me up with your suggestions for soup maker recipes please!

I got one for Xmas. I don’t think much of it really. It’s a nightmare to clean and the soup doesn’t taste great.

I don't know how soup makers work, but I love bacon and lentil. I try the bacon and onions, then add a potato and lentils.

I just use my £10 slow cooker. Don't like lots of gadgets!

Mines easy to clean! I love my soup maker

I made a butternut squash soup this week

Onion, potato , a small butternut squash and stock.

I have a bag of frozen soffrito if im feeling lazy.

I also get an oddbox regularly so usually have a celariac around which makes nice soup

Adult dc like this recipe

1 zuchinni, diced

1 small potato, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 carrot, diced
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
50g petit pois
50g very small pasta shapes
50g French beans, cut into 1cm pieces
650ml of vegetable stock, from cube
1 tbsp tomato puree (mix into the stock)
Pesto to serve
Parmesan cheese to serve
METHOD:

  1. Place ingredients into the soup maker, pour over the vegetable stock/ tomato puree mix, season with salt and milled pepper, mix ingredients together with a spoon or spatula to evenly distribute.
  2. Press the chunky button and simply wait for 25 minutes until the soup maker has finished.
  3. Serve straight away with a spoonful of pesto and freshly grated parmesan chees

@FlyingGeeseAgain it's just a big plug in jug with a stick blender shoved in the top. Just quick - hot soup in 25 minutes. Bought from FB marketplace for £10 so I've lost V little if it doesn't get used often.

Such a faff to clean though! Yuh can’t wash it uo in the sink and the self cleaning thing isn’t great.

We make carrot soup, saute some onions (we've got the one with the saute option), throw in lots of carrots, some orange juice, a stock cube and some fresh coriander. Smooth soup option.

I don't have a soup maker I just use a stock pot or slow cooker. As I tend to make large pots which will do lunch/dinner for 4 most weeks.

My mum has one and uses it for most weeks and it works well for her only doing one or two portions.

I have a lot of chicken/turkey stock which I use as a base for vegetable / chicken soup.

I use this Soup mix to baulk up the soup.

I also have thisdried veg mix if I just want a quick soup.

The soups we mainly eat are
Chicken and veg soup can be thickened with the soup mix.
Tomato veg soup with filled pasta in it.
French onion Soup
