Nursery food bank recipes

Our lovely nursery has emailed to say that many parents are struggling and they are opening an in-house food bank for parents to contribute to. I am so sorry to hear they feel this is necessary and want to contribute some genuinely really useful and delicious things. It needs to be non-perishable so I was wondering what would be best.

Thank you! Great list. Thinking about protein specifically. Beans and tuna good but how about things like tins of mince? Chicken in sauce? Thinking about ease of preparation too.

Can you ask the nursery if there is anything specific without being too outing? Like baby formula might be greatly appreciated, or the families in need might be beyond the baby stage.

Wipes, nappies and baby bubble bath may also be appreciated, in addition to the excellent list above.

Thanks for these excellent suggestions. My feeling is definitely that protein is key.
I think they are mainly 2+ as this is where the funding kicks in but will ask. Thank you!!
