If anyone has one of these and recommends it or has a different one they recommend I'd appreciate it!

This thread is quite old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for air fryers, we’ve recently updated our best air fryer page with lots of great versatile options, as rated by real Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

I dont own one as yet, so can't comment on those brands. I was told to get a larger basket/drawer, because there is nothing worse than not being able to fit in everything you want to.

Ooh, following!

I have an Instant pot duo crisp. They have brought out a newer model since I got mine but I absolutely love it! We cook all sorts in it. Bacon, homemade chips, burgers, meatballs…chips are especially good. They cook in much less time too. The duo crisp is a pressure cooker too so I can do other meals like risotto and Mac and cheese quickly. Instant pot do a stand alone air fryer called the vortex for similar prices to what your list above cost, might be worth looking at. If you sign up to Lakeland, they give you an introductory discount too.

I originally had a Tower which was OK but only lasted a couple of years. Replaced it 3 years ago with the Ninja and would not have anything else now. Far superior. Cooks evenly, quickly and cleaning is a doddle.

If you use a slow cooker, pressure cooker or steamer regularly too if just get a ninja 9 in 1 or the new 15.

Sign up to Which and then cancel after a month.

Or check goodhousekeeping

Titsywoo · 02/01/2022 16:54

I already have a fairly new instant pot so just want a standard airfryer. I was leaning towards the Ninja but the basket being round instead of square looks like it will hold less?

I have a cosori 5.5. Comfortably holds a medium whole chicken.

I've got a 5 year-old Phillips, & am very happy with it. I've got the extension accessory that doubles the cooking area.

HelebethH · 02/01/2022 18:51

@Titstwoo have you seen the ninja 2 basket air fryer?

HelebethH · 02/01/2022 18:52

@Titsywoo sorry about wrong spelling above of your name

Boogaloony · 02/01/2022 19:00

I've got this one for two adults and two teens and I love it. The teens do all sorts in it and it's the go to machine with the toasty maker coming in a close second.

I have a halogen oven which cooks exactly the same way as an air fryer but can be used like a conventional oven

Geepee71 · 02/01/2022 20:53

I have the ninja with 2 baskets, love it and use it most days

BoodleBug51 · 02/01/2022 20:58

We initially had a Tefal actifry but didn't get on with it very well, the paddle tended to smash the food to bits once it started to cook. We then had a Phillips air fryer which was great but the basket got very manky and it only lasted about 2 years.

We've now got a Ninja multicooker, it was around £200 and it's a godsend...... easy to use, easy to clean and cooks home made chips/wedges/roast potatoes so quickly.

For reference, DD and her BF live with us and use it daily......... we're not junk food addicts Grin

We have the Philips which we absolutely love, it’s the non digital version though and works perfectly well!
