I've just been given a chocolate Christmas Tree - can anyone find me a picture on the web (& instructions how to make it)?

It's a stick, with 'shards' of dark chocolate on in a traditional Christmas tree shape

It is so beautiful & we are going to put it on the table at Christmas

But someone asked how it was made & I started thinking

Any ideas?

TIA
KMc

You are going to eat it aren't you?...only DAYS til Christmas and you are covering your back by trying to make a poor replacement which will probably look more like a reindeer poo than the real, beautiful item you are drooling over now...

Katymac · 19/12/2007 23:40

Ummm possibly no of course not

But it is wonderful & I want to know how long it took nosey

Reindeer poo - I can make that out of chocolate, do you want the grainy sort or the rabbit or the large & messy?

What a waste of chocolate - putting carrots in - they do get digested you know

ANyway back to my tree - it really is fab

Ah so all you have to do is put it out and eat it .

Katymac · 20/12/2007 00:10

Oh yes

I'm not actually sure I will be able to eat it

It is so lovely & I am really touched that the person made it for me, I mean buying something is one thing - but spareing the time to create a piece of art is something else

Scroll to the bottom of this page is it like that??

Katymac · 20/12/2007 00:18

It's the closest I've seen - but not really

Mine is very triangular like a real fir tree
The shards are irregular and very delicate & it's dusted with icing sugar
