I think you can freeze those yoghurts in the squeezy tubes....perhaps they don't recommend freezing pots in case the pots split, like frozen milk sometimes does. Have a try and let us know what happens!

OK, shall feed back.

Commercially sold yogurts have stabiliser added so that they can be frozen but home-made yogurts separate on thawing.

Yogurts to be frozen must be very fresh. DOn't freeze when nearly past their use-by date. If you freeze a large carton, it will need to beused within 3 days of thawing.

Storage in freezer 1 month.

Ideally thaw overnight in the fridge.

I was told you can make ice lollies by freezing fromage frais (like petit filous). You could try to do the same with yoghurt. Put a stick or a small spoon in it, freeze it, and serve it as ice lolly...

I think that fruit yogurts defrost all grainy

We used to do this a lot with small pots of fruit yoghurt, then eat them semi-frozen in the summer. Lovely.

I freeze them, then the kids eat them as ice cream. They go a bit grainy though, but I think they taste OK.
