If you have an instant pot, do you recommend it?

Just that really.

I had a slower cooker but hated that you needed to brown everything first and then put in the slow cooker. I have a pressure cooker already so is it worth getting an instant cooker?

What do you cook in them? Are they worth the hype?

TIA

The instant pot is perfect for curries!

I have a similar cooker and it does come in handy, but it's worth mentioning that the times given for the programmes (6 mins, 12 mins, etc) are only after it has come up to pressure which could take up to 15 mins.

I love mine and use it frequently. Mine sautés slow cooks, cooks rice, pressure cooks and can bake. Some also have an air fryer option. You can cook an entire chicken in under 15 minutes. I make stew, roast, slow cook, pressure cook with it all the time. I've gifted them to family members. Worth every penny, especially as it keeps me from turning my oven on a scorching summer day.

It took a bit of getting used to, but I love mine. There’s a great Facebook page called Instant Pot UK Community which I find invaluable for tips and recipes.
