I'd like to get into making Bundt cakes Which ones are best? Are nordicware tins worth the price?

I’ve only got a basic Bundt tin but our NYE cake is always a Bundt. This was last years, a very boozy Baileys cake.

That looks gorgeous, @exLtEveDallas. What's that in the middle?

Very taken with the yeast cake idea too. @Caspianberg, that recipe looks good.

@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g - it’s def more of a bread than cake. Treat it similar to hot cross buns.

@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g Maltesers with a Baileys/chocolate drizzle. Whole thing was bloody lovely (and about a million calories)

Brilliant. Thanks, both!

OMG @exLtEveDallas that cake looks amazing! Please can you share the recipe - I think I need to make this for NYE too!

@Piccalino3 sorry, only just seen this. Recipe is at home and I am away at the moment. Will post for you at the weekend :)

@wheresmymojo

I really want the one that is shaped like fir trees but it's £49!
I've had this one for a few years, saw it on Nigella Christmas Kitchen one year and had to have one. It is gorgeous, but to honest it's been a total pain. My success ratio with it has been really bad, and apart from once I think (probably the first time I used it, I reckon my mistake was I put it in the dishwasher which has probably ruined it), my cakes have never come out properly.

I've tried oiling it really well, and butter and flowering it, I've tried leaving it to cool fully in the tin, and taking it out after 15 mins - always a disaster.
