I am looking for inspiration and want a recipy for a pudding to make for over christmas that is not Christmas pudding.

Something that is easy to make and rather calorific. Something to eat after cold meat and bubble and squuek on Boxing day.

I am not apposed to trifle - alsong as it is booze in it and not a traditional one.

Any ideas greatfully received.....

A flourless chocolate cake? Easy and calorific and keeps well.

I'd make a lovely sticky toffee pudding.

Or how about brandied clemintines served with good vanilla icecream. You can bottle them now so they are ready for Christmas.

White chocolate cheese cake?

Sussex pond pudding? (A sponge pudding that has a whole lemon in the middle of it, which gives a wonderful lemony sauce).

Eton mess?

Pavlova?

Easiest cheesecake in the world?!

1/2lb digestive biscuits, crushed
2oz melted butter

Mix crumbs into butter, then press into a cake tin and chill to set

Juice of a lemon
large tin condensed milk
1/2lb Philadelphia Cheese

(Sorry ingredients are in imperial rather than metric but it's an old and much loved recipe)

Blend together till smooth and pour on top of the biscuit base.

I sometimes decorate it with a crushed Flake, or if it's to look posh, drape some strands of redcurrants over the top

It's very tasty - the lemon stops it being oversweet, but it has a lovely texture and disappears all too quickly in this household!
