Five a day query - What constitutes a portion for a toddler?

I'd love to be able to weigh the cooked broccoli or fresh strawberries etc that DS (two years 6 months) packs in to guage just how much of his five a day he's getting. The only thing I've found to date is that a portion, for anyone adult of child, is the size of the palm of your hand.

Would love something more scientific if anyone has it, ie pointers to a site or something that can tell you that it's 50 grams of cooked veg, and 60 or fresh, or similar.

IIRC it is a piece the size of their fist.

I just give them plenty of fruit and veg and don't worry about portion sizes. I give them the amount they will eat.

Me too. I guess I@m just curious to know in the end. Sometimes he eats just two things but eats tons of them, just curious I guess! What's IIRC mean?

If I Remember Correctly

I think it is a piece the size of their fist as well.

IIRC = if I recall/remember correctly.
