At the community centre last week I had a really gorgeous chocolate cake. It was really dense, not light and airy IYKWIM. It was like a cake that had had one of the usual ingredients replaced. I only say that coz someone I know made a similar cake and it didn't have something in it, but I can't remember what it was. It was something like no butter or something.
Ok, I'm not making much sense here. Does anyone have a recipe for a love dense chocolate cake with thick butter icing? I've got people coming over for dinner tonight and want to make it.
