UK brunch/lunch sharing dish ideas

I'm at a brunch tomorrow with friends (not in the UK) and the ask from the host is to bring a sharing dish from your country. I'm at a loss of what I can bring that is easily made, can feed about 12 and is then transportable.

No access to pork but everything else pretty much available. Please help me represent Britain!

I've made a bean dish. Maybe Cajun spiced beans with tomatoes and spinach? Could even add some eggs on top and bake in oven

I would make a dozen scones, a dish of whipped cream and add a dish of strawberry jam. Quick and easy to make.

If it has to be savoury, I’d definitely make Coronation Chicken served on a platter with crisp green salad leaves and basmati rice.

If you can take a dish which can be cooked or reheated just before, I’d take a savoury bread and butter pudding like this www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/stilton-and-leek-bread-and-butter-bake/ or recipes.sainsburys.co.uk/recipes/cheese-and-tomato-bread-and-butter-pudding

Thanks all, these suggestions are great Fivemoreminutes1 I'm taking those dishes and making them for me and DH!

Liking the kedgeree (can you eat that cold? It's been years since I had it) and coronation chicken ideas in particular Smile
