Evening all.

I feel like I would like to buy a couple of new cook books. But can't decide what. Obv can't have a look through any before buying at the moment either. Like all sorts. Very foodie couple. Got quite a collection already like hairy bikers, pinch of nom, Jamie Oliver, Anna Jones. Any fab new (or not) recipe books people can recommend? Was going to get new pinch of nom book but heard mixed reviews!

Any cookbook by Diana Henry, but in particular, Cook Simple and a bird in the hand. Her recipes are interesting, delicious and they always work.

I also think Nigella is great.

Have heard excellent things about Diane Henry. Must have a look.

If you enjoy veggie or vegan food I really love the Happy Pear cookbooks.
I also like Donal Skehans Eat Live GoCook Book - it's a good mix

Ottolenghi "Simple" is great if you're a foodie, but also the recipes are a lot easier than most of his.
Find the book on Amazon, then "Look Inside" shows you the list of recipes.
BTW A lot of Amazon books have this LI feature

I’ve got the new one from Ching-He Huang - Asian Green which is plant based. I’ve done a few things and really liked them.

Flavour by ottolenghi is great too.

I was going to say Happy Pear too. I got their Recipes for Happiness book for Christmas and have made a few things from it, all of which have been great.

Shall investigate all of these thank you!

My go to cookbooks are Jamie/Nigella. Also love and actually use Rachel Khoo (tv series on catch up) and Tessa Kiros a lot.

Sabrina Ghayour has written some lovely books. ‘Persiana’ and ‘Simply’ are both brilliant, lots of lovely recipes and not too fussy to prepare.

Diana Henry's are all lovely- change of appetite is my favourite. Her books are very often on kindle deals for 99p so keep an eye out.

The most used cookbook I've bought in recent years has been Marcus wareings new classics. I'm a foodie and it's taught me many techniques and changed how I cook for the better. I have made a lot from it and had no fails.

For very elaborate and fancy foodie meals I use the great British chefs cookbook- it's not aimed for everyday cooking and many recipes are unattainable for me, but is a fabulous book that I look to for special occasions.
