Ok, ive bought a small piece of liver for DS as im a bit worried about his iron intake but dont really know what to do with it.
I never eat the stuff myself, have never cooked it so what do i do to make it appetising for him?

fry with some onions, make some mash & gravy. how old is he? when dds were small i fried up chicken livers, soaked some dried apricots and whizzed the lot up. it smelled revolting (I don't eat it) but they loved it.

He is 15 months. Will do the above cos ive got some dried apricots in the cupbourd and they are oozing iron apparently. Thanks very much.
Also, while you are here, can i ask you what you know about cling film? i know its a strange question but i have a vague recollection of it bieng proven to be carcenogenic or something. I just cant remember exsactly what it is?? Ive been using it to wrap DS's meals in for the freezer. Annabel Carmel doesnt mention it at all.
DYKWIM?

just fry it in a pan. it actually tastes very nice (but I know I'm in the minority here, my DD love it though. DH wouldn't even look at it. i only use chicken livers, don't know how the others are). How old is DS? If under 1 you can make it into a pste and mix it with the other veg/potatoes purree, otherwise just cut it into small pieces and serve with home made chips and tomatoes.
