Magimix or Kenwood Prospero with food processor attachment?

I asked this question yesterday but didn't get any replies Smile
So thought I would try again in this section.
I'm really stuck and could do with some help!
I'm looking to buy either the Magimix 5200XL or a Kenwood Prospero. The Kenwood comes with food processor, juicer, liquidiser and mincer. They are roughly the same price. So here's my dilemma: the Magimix looks nice and compact whereas I won't need the mincer and I already have a juicer. The liquidiser would be good for smoothies though.
I bake quite a lot, cook almost always cook from scratch and like to make spice pastes and hummous and other 'dips'. I believe I wound need an extra accessory for spice grinding for the Kenwood?
My question is, is the Magimix any good for baking/kneeding and is the small bowl on the Magimix any good for spice pastes etc?
I really don't want to make a mistake at that price, so any help or suggestions would help

I have that Magimix. I must admit I don't use it at all for baking except for making pastry (for which it is fantastic). It comes with a dough blade but to be honest my hands are usually faster for kneading bread (I do a long series of folds and turns rather than a 10 min knead).

It is fantastic for hummus, mayonnaise, pastry, whipped cream, gazpacho when you don't want it too smooth. I use the grater blades regularly for grating cheese, veg for salads or fritters, making breadcrumbs from stale bread. I use the slicer blade for making potatoes for dauphinoise.

I must admit I can't remember the last time I used the small bowl for a spice paste, I have a coffee grinder I use if it's just a very small amount of dry spices or a mortar and pestle for wet stuff. I do make spice pastes but I always use the large bowl and freeze the extra in ice cube trays. I'm sure you could use the small bowl no problem though.

I'm sorry I don't know much about the Kenwood but if you already have a juicer for smoothies and won't use a mincer, then you're really comparing the two food processor functions and those are probably very similar. So then the only difference is the compactness I guess!

@Xiaoxiong thank you for replying. I think you are right about the Kenwood. I think I've almost decided on the Magimix now. The compactness really appeals to me. Sounds like you are happy with yours
