Little pasta

When DD1 was being weaned, Cow & Gate or someone did boxes of little dried pasta hoops. Asda doesn't seem to do these anymore. They also used to stock tiny little pasta shapes in their regular pasta aisle, but again, couldn't find them. Does anyone know whether these products still exist, and where I can get them from?

Has been a thread on this recently but can't find it. I think we concluded that you can't get them anymore but most of us suggested just buying normal soup pasta which is usually small enough.

HTH!

Thanks. Do you think it would be successful putting normal pasta in a blender, or do you think it would mush it up too much?

michellep, how old is your little one, as I can remeber giving ds macaroni cheese withot being mulched up at a very young age, about 9 months I think without mulching

I've recently seen the pasta shapes in Sainsburys. I think they're Farleys but don't quote me on that!!! I think they are from 9 months but both ds and dd had them from 6 months because I made the Annabel thingie My 1st bolognase that they both loved. Mummy was rather partial to it as well

I got tiny pasta stars at my local Italian deli; also Peter Rabbit organic mini fusilli from Waitrose: other stockists here

I also still put regular pasta in the blender, and offer bigger bits as finger foods

HTH

Ah yes, farfalline, that was the other one I used to use, but couldn't remember where I got it from. Thanks.

Haven't read through all the answers but I found tiny stars (stelline I think) in a local deli. I also buy the smallest size macaroni and just chop it when it's cooked and it's fine. Hope that helps!
