Soft-tipped spoons?

My 6 month old dd has been refusing solids so far, but seems to be OK with me feeding her with my finger (nice!). We have Tommee Tippee soft-tipped spoons, but these still seem a bit hard for her mouth, the sensitive little flower . Can anyone recommend a really soft rubbery spoon that might help please?

how about the thermal ones?

why do you think they're too hard for her mouth? what is she doing? .. my DD (also 6 months) bites down on anything and everything .. the harder the better (big ol' brute )

I used Heinz soft rubbery spoons. Don't remeber what they were called though!!!

I've got a really soft rubbery spoon that came with a bowel. It's from the Miriam Stoppard range and I got it from a large branch of Mothercare.

Is she teething? My ds refused to have a spoon in his mouth when he was cutting his first teeth at around 6 months, but would eat off my finger. Once his teeth came through he would accept the spoon again.

Otto, have you got a really soft rubbery spoon?? I'm only joking lol

She's been refusing solids for the past month, jaws most firmly shut for some reason. Tried my finger today and that seems to be helping, but I'd rather she ate off a spoon!
Thanks, I'll have a look out for these when I go to the Big Smoke next (where I live it's a choice of TT, Boots or finger)..

Heinz baby basics were the spoons I used. Their trainer cups are good too - soft rubber spout.

My dad bought ds 2 bowl's and 2 spoon's in a se from asda and the spoons were soft tipped last christmas, I've also bought soft spoon's from boots which also change colour when too hot which I think are really good

Thanks guys - the food refusal has been worth it for hearing about the spoon with the bowel
