I’m not looking after myself well due a multitude of reasons and I thought this might help.

Any tips? It’s just the basic one on John Lewis.

If you use social media there are a few good recipe sharing groups on Facebook. I get a lot of inspiration and recipes from there as the recipe booklet included with mine was a bit short

I love mine! So easy . I just pop loads of veg in there , anything really!

They're great. I add potatoes but unfortunately milk burns in men so no creamy soup.

Here's a tip :-
keep the box it came in, in case you need to return it for a refund.
Mine lasted less than a month !

I love mine, had it a few years and use it all the time. I do have a habit of over filling it though and having to empty some out every time. I've tried lots of these recipes.

I bought a leek and two parsnips this week, and some organic chicken stock cubes.

Spicy parsnip! My soupmaker is used weekly, I take soup to work a lot in a thermos.

Whole bag of parsnips. Chopped onion or shallot or leek. Water to "minimum" level. Stock cube, black pepper. Tablespoon of mild curry powder. Pop some cream or creme fraiche in at the end. Yummy!!

Do you sauté? I couldn’t afford the sauté one Blush

Well I’ve used it twice and it’s brilliant, I love it. I made some bread with pumpkin, poppy & sesame seeds to use with the soup.

I love that you can use all sorts of veg. My favourites always include a sweet potato as it makes the soup so smooth.

I find that as long as I use 750g (approx) of veg, the soup turns out well. Either water and a stock cube or homemade chicken/ turkey stock if I've made a batch recently. Sometimes a couple of cubes of frozen spinach is good to add for variety (and to make me feel virtuous Grin )

Almost no work and 21 minutes later for a homemade lunch!
