He's 9 months and pretty much the only hot food I can gaurantee he'll eat its Cauliflower cheese.
We had a do at BLW a while ago and it went really well, I was completely converted. Now though, if I give him anything with lumps, or if he bites anything he sucks its for a second or 2 and spits it out.

Its driving me mad. One day he'll wolf down a whole dinner, the next he'll fart and faff about for every meal. I know at 9 months its not such a big deal but....I really want a baby who'll eat anything and evething this time.

Tried him with weetabix at breakfast today and he was sick EVERYWHERE. Its made him sick before so I left it a 4-5 weeks but this mornings episode of sick was the worst yet.

Lunch ended up being a Hipp jar or fruit and a yoghurt. Sandwich I'd made for him was scattered across the floor.

Dinner was cauli cheese again, same as last night, and a yoghurt.

I really don't want another fussy eater

If you can't tell me how to stop him becoming fussy please leave you recipes that include cheese sause here....

Yes make your cauli cheese with broccoli, shallots, potatoes and carrots (and whizz to mush if he doesn't like lumps).

You might also get him to eat things like fish pie and shepherd's pie if you make them cheesy.

I know you're a mum of 4 so I'm sure you know all those HV-stylee tips but - keep giving him food he doesn't like. Works for my DS - he will hate something at first, but eat it and like it after it's been put in front of him often enough.

JUst keep giving the same foods. If he is hungry he'll eat, if not he won't.
We've always given ds the same as us, as much as possible. He gets a meal, and if he doesn't eat it then he doesn't eat it. He is the least fussy 2.5 yr old I've ever met (even eats stuff I hate lol)
Just don't make a big deal about it. Offer food, and if he refuses then take it away.
If ds is having a non-eating day then we make up for it with extra milk drinks or something between, or at bedtime

I've treid sooooooooooo many times with the food he doesn't like (and with the older ones)but he'll just be sick.
He's sick so often and so easily that at every meal I come armed with a bowl to ctach it in...
With the weetabix this morning he was sick with the 1st mouthful, but I thought I;d try him a little more. 4-5 spoons later it was like Niagra falls but wth sick.

Friut, yoghurts and cauli cheese are the only thing that dont make him vomit.
