I'm hoping to put today a treats hamper for my niece and nephew as part of their Xmas gift. Both teenagers but my DN is a celiac any tasty snacks anyone can recommend?

Home-made or shop bought?

Any of the Deliciously Ella snack things
Chocolate covered rice cakes
Schar Lebkuchen

Whittard hot chocolate
Gourmet popcorn - several flavours from Popcorn Shed are GF (I like pecan pie and salted caramel) and most flavours from Joe and Seph’s are GF. Joe and Seph make Christmas flavours too like mince pie or Irish cream.
Tiffin and rocky road from Lazy Days
Gourmet marshmallows from Marsh and Mallow
Percy Pigs
Candy a Kittens Eton mess and sour watermelon
Nakd bars

Fabulous, thanks for the ideas.

Definitely shop bought as they need to be posted!

Marks and Spencers do fab GF food. Things like popcorn and tortilla chips are also usually GF.

I'm a coeliac and think this is such a lovely idea. Highly recommend Livia's, Joe&Seph popcorn, Montezuma chocolate, eat real crisps. You can get most of them in Sainsbury's. All the big supermarkets have excellent ranges in the free from section now, especially Morrisons, so have a browse and see what grabs your fancy.

I second the M&S gluten free range, the fruit cake (if that’s their thing) is particularly good.

Also gluten free Hobnobs are amazing and Clipper drinking chocolate.

Ooh the drinking chocolate is a good call!

I'm off shopping on Wednesday, so I'll have a good look at the snacks.

One last question, my niece is 18, so can have a tipple now, I notice some beers aren't gluten free is there any other alcohol I should watch out for? I was thinking about a couple of pre made cocktails or little bottles of fizz, baileys?

Thanks got all your help.

Crabbies is gluten free!

The schlar breadsticks with chocolate spread

Ooh crabbies, that sounds a good call!

I'm not going to want to let this hamper go!

I'm getting them an escape room to go with the hamper. My sil is very vulnerable to COVID so I'm trying to get something they can do indoors for all of them which is hopefully fun!

Tesco Finest GF cakes are good, the whole ones and the 5 pack of rocky road/brownies. The triple chocolate cookies are good too, Aldi do a similar type. M&S do a little tub of crispy bite things that are a lovely treat. If you don't avoid Nestle, Kit Kat have GF Santas. Actually if you email Nestle they'll tell you what else you can have - After Eights and Quality St are normally fine. Schar have Jaffa cakes with Christmassy packaging as well as the Lebkuchen and another cinnamon type biscuit. Those Seabrooke crisps are lovely. Pom Bears are GF too. Oh, The Jelly Bean Factory jelly beans are GF and you can buy them on Amazon, I'm not sure if they're stocked in shops in the UK. Might be an idea to throw in a packet of Schar crackers too - not the cream crackers but they do a kind of Tuc imitation. Also Schar take on Twix and Malteasers if you can find them.

The big Sainsburys near me has gluten free Stroopwaffels - discovering those was a good, good day.
