Burgers for egg/dairy allergic child?

Hello, can anyone advise me how to make burgers (as healthy as poss) for an allergic ds? I have extra lean mince, but can't use egg to bind. Will try and grate some veg in with the mix (hidden ). Any ideas. His meals are not very varied as you can imagine and want to start introducing new stuff.

Any ideas?

Just use some peppere, grated onion, and squish them to the shape you want - cook them in the oven and they won't fall to bits. I never use an egg.

What about using baked beans as a binder? Woud add some veg too!

I never use a binder for burgers and they hold fine. I cook them in a pan.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. Will give it a go. I will probably forego the baked beans, have had to take them out of his diet due to 8 months of toilet training and some issues with poo .

Erk! Mine would quite happily live on baked beans.

we also never use anything to bind them. Cook them in a pan but don't be too quick to turn them over.

You can use oats or breadcrumbs, which is what I do, think it's the gluten that binds it. I also put in a splash of Soy Sauce as this makes grated carrots etc the same colour as the mince. Good luck.
