I bought it on Friday, it's been in the fridge since. I've washed it but it still smells a bit. If it was chicken I'd bin it no question, but just not sure becasue it's pork. What shall I do?

I don't think I'd risk it.
If you cooked it, would you actually fancy eating it?

I roasted a joint of pork once that smelt a bit high, and I found that the inside was absolutely fine but the crackling tasted nasty.
Maybe cut the fat off and see if the inside smells?
Whatever, if you do cook it, make sure it is well cooked!

I had a joint of pork which smelt recently. I still coocked it and it tasted fine! The kids ate it too - none of us were ill.

Don't take any chances, as Doodle says, with white meat. I say this as one off work today with uncontrollable vomiting and squits [weak smile sorry for TMI]...

Thanks for all the replies. I've binned it . You're right - I can't take a chance with my own health at the mo (9 weeks pg) or my kids. DH? Nope, suppose not his either
