Can I recycle Azera tins (and similar) for jam making?

I hate throwing the Azera tins into the recycling, but have never found a good use for more than a few of them. But I'm making jams and jelly right now, and wondered whether I could use the Azera tins as an alternative to glass jars. Does anyone know whether this would be OK? I cannot find anything on the internet to say yes or no, and so many searches for "can" just seem to assume you mean glass.

I don't think they would be suitable. are the tins lined?
if lined the coating might not tolerate the high temperatures. and if no coating the metal might transfer a taste to the jam.

for jam you need containers & lids that can tolerate heat.

No. I’d have thought you’d run into issues with sterilising them, as the metal is too thin and the lids aren’t airtight enough so the jam would go furry v quickly. Better off using for pen pots, make up organisation (lip/eye pencils, make up brushes) or craft things with the kids.
