New boyfriend - supper?!

Sorry me again, my very lovely but secretive and quite shy DD aged 19 has a new boyfriend (they are very loved up). He's coming over later and will stay for supper. I'm out during the day so not too much time to cook. What can I cook that's nice but not too "try hard"?! I would normally do lasagne but there's not enough time. Thanks again!!

Something like fajitas or burritos (so long as he isn't a no spice person?) - nice and sociable, informal passing lots of dishes around and people can build their own to their preferences? The only prep really is to chop up and fry the meat (or veggie protein) and veg with spices which takes 15 mins, and heat up some wraps? Then you can add lots of trimmings which you can buy ready made/not requiring cooking, such as sour cream, salsa, gaucamole, salad, extra jalpeno chilli?

Even if he isn't into anything spicy you could always cook his without the spices so he can just have some plain chicken or quorn?

Baked chicken pieces? Or roast chicken but served without all the roast trimmings - I often do a midweek roast chicken served with new potatoes and greens (in fact, it's what we're having tonight).

A quick thai curry? I do a lovely 30 minutes butternut thai curry recipe that I often whip out when I've got people coming over for casual supper and not much time to cook.

Beef stroganoff?

Whatever you do, make sure there's plenty of it! Young men that age can eat loads.
