New mixing bowls - tell me your favourites please

I need to replace an old plastic mixing bowl and am happy to treat myself to some really good ones. I would love to get stainless steel with lids but there is so much out there so help me choose a good set.

I need them for batter making with a mixer (your typical Victoria Sponge cake size) and also one big enough for bread/pizza dough so need enough space for rising.

A set of 2-3 should be enough, I still have a good plastic one for your average cake size and a slim one for whipped cream or making stiff egg white.

Won't stainless steel be incredibly loud with a mixer? (I don't have a mixer, so genuine question.) I have stainless steel bowls but never use them because I know some foods don't suit them but can't remember which ones, so I always default to my pyrex bowls.

Traditional Mason Cash for me, I think stainless steel would set my teeth on edge when using a mixer as above poster mentioned.
My wedding present one from 38 years ago is still going strong!

Stainless steel are so light! I find them much easier to use - getting out of cupboards, washing up & returning them- than the lovely looking Mason Cash ones.

Mason Cash are fabulous.
I have a set of pyrex bowls tho.

Le Creuset ceramic bowl that is also like a big jug. I have just one and use it for everything. Gorgeous colours as well!

I would love ceramic ones but I just don’t have the space to store them and being light is a major point for me.

I would go back to plastic, my best one is over 24 years old and no sign of damage but all I find are so flimsy.
