Do you all pre-boil potato wedges before freezing or can I just cut them and freeze?

Any help or experiences appreciated Smile.

Yes you have to parboil them before freezing then plunge in cold water before draining & spreading out to freeze. Once frozen you can bag them together.

I made wedges yesterday and froze some. No idea how they will turn out. I didn't parboil them - cooked them in the oven in the usual way.

Watch out for a thread in 6 months' time when I unearth them, titled "omg homemade wedges turn into blobs of hideous tasteless mush when you heat them up."

Thank you both, looked though old threads, I'm sure I came across someone just freezing them, but can't find them now.

Don't worry Fromage perhaps they will resemble your username Grin. I have done this and they were OK but a little dry (perhaps it was because they were roasted very hard before freezing 🤷‍♀️).
