Not as good as fresh but better than nothing and counts towards your five a day.Watch out for added sugar though

Good if it's in it's own juice, not so good if it's in syrup.

It's processed, so fresh is better, but fresh stuff that's a few days old starts to lose it's goodness so isn't always great itself.

And some tinned fruit tastes horrible!

better than no fruit, but frozen is better and fresh is best
get the stuff canned in water though else you may as well eat jam

Good Housekeeping this month says it's almost as good as fresh - counts towards your five a day. One downside is that it has probably lost a bit of Vit C in canning ... also must be in own juice, not syrup.

tinned mandarin in is juice better than a dried up so-called 'fresh' one... worth having in cupboard for when the fruit bowl fails.

Frozen berries can be good too. Same argument as with peas - vitamins not going off.

was going to post what LadyP said...

If it is in fruit juice it is going to be reasonably good, in sugar syrup not so good.

Frozen fuit and veg are often every bit as good as fresh, particularly when 'fresh' isn't that fresh.

So frozen peas can have more vitamin content than fresh. Tinned processed peas are not that good for vitamins.

In general the more the fruit/ veg resembles the fresh, the better it is for you IYSWIM
