What do you keep your recipes in?

I have hundreds of cooking magazines and I'm thinking that a boredom busting project would be to go through and pull out recipes I want to keep.
Does anyone have a great storage idea for these? I'm looking at box files but wondering if anyone did anything a bit nicer Smile

This, but it’s a bit on the small side www.rexlondon.com/vintage-apple-recipe-tin

I've seen similar to those and really like the design but don't think it would hold much?

I did that just yesterday! So fed up with trawling through piles of recipes for one I KNOW is there... I bought 6 ring binders, plain white ones with a clear sleeve to insert a page in front, and I got the kids to draw covers and spines for them - meat dishes / veg dishes / seasonal (like Xmas, Halloween etc) / cakes and puddings / salads, soups and starters and another for their own favourite recipes so they can dip in and make their favourite things, also keep when they go to uni. Most of the recipes were ones kept from successes that I'd previously googled and printed, but some hand written from friends or pulled from magazines. I put them all in plastic clear punched pockets to keep them clean.

Ps I originally did have them loose in box files - too hard to locate a particular recipe and too much of a hassle to browse through.

Glad its not just me doing this! I really want to cook a Beef Rendang from a Delicious Magazine from years ago but I can't face looking for it! I know you can find recipes online but I prefer a paper recipe on a stand.
I'm thinking of an expanding box file with different categories now.

I'm even considering laminating them but that might be overkill Blush

I bought a recipe folder from paper chase. You hand write out in sheets or cards and has an elastic to close. I tear pages out of magazines and tuck them into it. Once a recipe is tried and it's good I write it out into the folder. That folder then goes everywhere with me on holiday. Allnn no our favs in one place

supadupa I've always loved the idea of writing recipes in a book but I know I just don't have the concentration to keep it up and I'd end up just giving up!
