WTF can I do with frozen avocados (first world problem warning)

In the back of my freezer, I have discovered a bag of frozen avocados which I impulse bought back in the good old days.
We defrosted and tried one - the texture was odd (as I had half expected) but the flavour was also weird, fairly flavourless but with an unpleasant edge.
I think I had originally intended to use them for guac and for mashing onto toast, but am now not so sure that would work. I hate wasting food at the best of times but it seems especially churlish these days. However I am also loath to throw good ingredients at the problem in case the end result is inedible.
Has anyone else has any joy with frozen avocados? How can I salvage this foolish purchase?

Avocado naan bread? The avocado is pretty well hidden.

Apparently you can make it into soup....

We've used it before in a pasta sauce - like a sort of pesto. Avocado, garlic, any herbs you've got in the fridge, chilli, lemon/lime if you have it, whizz it all up and serve with pasta.

Mush, but with lemon, chilli and salt for more flavour?

avocado chocolate mouse

Creamy avocado pasta sauce

Avocado cornbread this is a favourite in our house, I always make it to go with chilli.

You can also use it to replace eggs in baking.

Definitely the pasta sauce. I've done that one before, nicely creamy but the avocado flavour wasn't especially obvious.

I've had good results in soup as well. It sounds crazy but I've roasted fresh avocado before and put it in enchiladas. I can't see why that wouldn't work with frozen as well. The flavours are strong enough to take off any weird taste. Frozen veg is shit in general though, I've not yet found any that are as good as the fresh version (maybe peas?).

Ooh, some very interesting ideas to try, thank you.
@ByGrabtharsHammerWhatASavings - I agree, frozen veg can be hit and miss. I use peas, sweetcorn, green beans and spinach. Onions, leeks, peppers and carrots are fine in casseroles etc. Aubergines, courgettes, mushrooms are best avoided IMHO.
