Has anyone got recipes for macaroni cheese and macaroni pudding?? As you can tell I've got a cupboard full of macaroni and am getting a bit fed up with making tomato macaroni.

I found diet macaroni recipes here would they be any good to you?

mum's macaroni cheese

chop an onion and boil it in the water with the macoroni and salt

make a white sauce add mature cheddar cheese (I normally grate in half a large slab) ... then add a tin of chopped tomatoes

mix cooked pasta and onion with the cheese sauce

put in a casserole dish (can put grated cheese and a couple of slices of tomato on the top if you want or not) and bake in oven for 45 minutes (last ten minutes without a cover)

bake at about gas mark 5 or 180

do you need more detailed info

really easy and really yummy

Macaroni Pudding Recipe

6 ounces macaroni
1 ounce of butter
1 pint of milk
A little grated nutmeg

Break the macaroni into small pieces, and throw into boiling water, and keep it boiling for half an hour, drain it well, and return to the saucepan, add the milk, butter and nutmeg, and let it simmer gently for fifteen minutes. Turn into a buttered pie dish, and bake until firm--about half an hour.

I made a lovely pork bolognaise and chucked in half a pan of macaroni tonight. Mix it all together and it's lovely the next day too for lunch!
