sorry if this is a really dumb question but i am a totally novice cook! I have been trying a few things from the 'finger foods for babies and toddlers' cookbook for my 12mo dd and see that i can freeze some of them but i dont know at what stage of the preparation. it would be really handy as i am back to work next week and will need to send lunch into nursery. the things in question are things like lentil croquettes, quorn nuggets, and veggie mince meatballs. do i fully make them, ie cook them etc, freeze them then defrost and eat/warm up? or do i freeze them before cooking? my life would be so much easier if i can take them out of the freezer the night before and pop them straight into her lunchbox!
TIA

Would cook them totally then freeze them personally. That's what I do with my DS food.

Agree with Wilkie. Cook first, then freeze

Uuummm, lentil croquettes sound nice - will you share your recipe?

I freeze things at the last possible stage so they are ready to reheat when defrosted.
