Do you use a recipe organiser app or website?

And if so what is it and would you recommend it?

I've got so many recipes saved in my bookmarks , but half the time I can't find the one I want because it's so disorganised and I can't seem to get it any clearer despite all the folders and sub-folders. Also I often forget to remove links because the result didn't live up to expectations, an easy way to rate/categorise/remove would be fabulous.

TIA

I use eatyourbooks. I think you can try it for free, but it's worth the small sub.

Most of my own books are indexed, & there's a huge database of online recipes. Searching can be by ingredient, cuisine, course, chef or a combo.

It's great when you need to use up something in the fridge or cupboard. There's also a forum for asking questions & seeking advice.

That looks interesting, thanks! What's it like with converting units of measurement - does it do so automatically or do you have to DIY? I follow quite a different blogs from around the world and it's pretty tricky remembering if it's US or Australian cups, let alone doing the calculations.

I use Evernote for mine. It's free for the basic package, which is enough for me (60 mb I think, which resets every month) and you can sync between two devices - I capture the recipes on my Mac, then use my iPad in the kitchen.

I use different 'notebooks' for mains, baking, desserts etc and than add tags ( e.g. chicken, chocolate, slow cooker etc) so I can search depending on what / how I'm cooking.

You can capture recipes from the web, so no need to bookmark or scan in recipes from books, magazines etc.

Works great for me!

I don't think there's a conversion facility, but a lot of the online recipes have dual instructions.
If I see a recipe that uses cups & fahrenheit, I give it a miss as I cba !

MyMeals365 - best one hands down and free. You can save all your recipes from the web into your own cookbook rather than having them in loads of different sites and never being able to find them! It's on Google Play.
