Just bought some gnocchi cos we're having it and I thought DS might like it with some tomato and veg sauce (quick and easy eh?!) Only thing is, the wheel thingy on the front of the pack says the salt content is red and there's 1g of salt per 100g.

Is that too much? Obviously he won't be eating loads of it but not sure if I should. He doesn't eat anything with added salt as a rule cos I generally make all his stuff and am very careful about it.

What dya reck?

Sometimes I do the sums - if they can have 1g a day he would have to eat a whole 100g to get that, but he'll probably eat, what, 10-20g?

I once got worried because I had bought reduced salt ricecakes instead of the totally salt free sort and then I realised dd would have to eat over 4 packets to reach her maximum

Obviously it depends what else they're having, but if it's mainly homecooked he'll be fine.
