I wouldn't. It's very high in mercury, and the food standards agency does not recommend it for children. Sorry. I love it.

No, not as high and it is considered OK. Shark, swordfish and Marlin have very high levels because of their place in the food chain.

I remember eating loads of swordfish on Greek holidays before I knew it was dangerous. I regret it now.

Oh well, dd will have to have something boring from a jar for tea, while we tuck into the swordfish. Sometimes I think I take my 'she needs to eat what we eat' theory a bit far anyway . Although having seen a friend's 2 year old happily munch her way through a dollop of anything that was cooked from everyone's plates in a Japanese restaurant, I still think it's the way to go...
