Best pasta sauces?

I do like to make my own pasta sauces but after work sometimes I just want a quick fix.
Can anyone recommend any nice jar pasta sauces?
I've tried the Tesco carbonara and it tastes awful.
Do any actually taste nice out there?

The best I’ve found is a good tin of chopped toms, lots of onion cooked down slow, garlic and then chilli if you fancy. Not a fan of the jars but wish I could find a good one!

Pesto is good and freezes well (and defrosts easily) so you can buy the fresh stuff and freeze it in scoops.

Fresh stuffed pasta also freezes well and cooks easily from frozen so that’s my CBA meal.

I'm really struggling to find a nice one.
I've tried cooking mushrooms and adding chicken ..but still the flavour isn't great.
I think il try the tinned tomato with the garlic etc
Thankyou

Aldi's mascarpone and tomato stir in sauce is really nice.

I don't like any of the jarred sauces particularly.

I do have a quick and easy recipe for pasta though that is lush and healthy as well.

You know those trays of Mediterranean veg you can buy with courgettes, peppers, cherry tomatoes and onions in? Buy one of them and roast with a bit of olive oil for about 20 minutes. Put your pasta on after 15 minutes. Once the veg is cooked take it out, squirt about an inch of tomato puree in it and break a mozzerala ball over it then stir and put it back in oven til cheese is all melty and bubbling.

Drain your pasta then stir in the cheesy veg. The juice from the veg mix with the puree to give you some sauce. Its lovely and really easy and quick. You could chop your own veg if you wanted it cheaper, but definitely quick and easy using prepacked.

Lidl's tomato sauces are all nice, particularly the one with chilli (it's not overly spicy). You can just stir them in or perhaps add some fresh roast veg as PP says.

Or do you like pesto? I like it again with fresh roast Mediterranean veg (I'm veggie) or DH likes with crispy bacon or pancetta pieces. Is you do like it, it's super easy to make a batch at the weekend (just blend pine nuts, fresh basil, parmesan (or veggie hard cheese for veggies) and some olive oil together, it keeps for at least a week in the fridge so we usually have some on standby for lazy nights (or we just buy jars if we CBA or don't have the fresh ingredients to hand, you can buy lots of different flavours in the jars like sundried tomato which is nice).

YY to fresh filled tortellini too, DH likes them with a tomato sauce but I usually just have with olive oil and some grated hard cheese...

For a quick cheesy sauce, I just cook the pasta, drain and return to the hot pan it came from, add in any veg/meat wanted (children usually like ham and peas!) then stir some marscapone or ricotta or sometimes Philly cream cheese in. The hot pan and pasta melts the 'sauce' a bit, you can even keep the pasta cooking water and add a spoonful or so in to loosen it up proper Italian style - although I'm sure a real Nonna wouldn't be using Philly Grin.

Nigella has a recipe for marmite spaghetti, I've never tried it but could be good? www.nigella.com/recipes/spaghetti-with-marmite

Homemade carbonara is quick, you just need bacon, cheese and egg. Doesn’t have the odd aftertaste that shop carbonara can have.

The tray baked Mediterranean sauce sounds lovely. We do it with just cherry tomatoes and whole garlic, makes a lovely pasta sauce.

For chicken, start with an onion and some garlic and use chicken thighs - plus a splash of white wine - mushrooms, chives and parsley (not really a quick open the fridge dinner but it doesn’t Take too long to chop it all).

Chicken chorizo and tomato is good on pasta as well.

I really like Loyd grossman’s Tomato and basil jarred sauce.
